Paul said “I can do all Things Through Christ, Which Strengthens Me.” Nothing can intimidate you if you believe this. Call out every liar in your life.

You can’t graduate, that is a lie.

You can’t succeed in your career, that is a lie.

You can’t prosper in your finances, that is a lie.

You can’t put your marriage back together, that is a lie.

You will not win, The Devil is a lie and the truth ain’t in it!

Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. Know that you are from God and His Spirit lives in you. Through Jesus Christ, the Lord’s mighty strength dwells in us and equips us to overcome the enemy and call out his lies. Remember that you are in the world, but not of the world. No one in this world can tell you that you can’t do anything. Keep striving and never give up.

²⁵ Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. ²⁶ When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

²⁷ But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

²⁸ “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

²⁹ “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.³⁰ But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Having support is a good feeling. People there to cheer you on, pray for you and come to your events feels good. But what if you lack support?

Imagine what it was like on a boat with support and you see Jesus walking towards you on water. Peter asked “Jesus if that is you, bid me to come” and the Lord said one word “Come”. Not “Come, your friends won’t belive in you” He just said Come. Peter stepped off the boat and started walking on something that is not designed to hold him up. When you can’t feel support, walk by faith. Your flesh wants to feel support. But if you don’t mind feeling shaky, you can step into the land fo your miracles. The guys on the boat wasn’t praying for with him every step if the way. We fail because we want someone to be in agreement with us. If the Lord told you something, you don’t need anyone else to be in agreement. So what if you don’t have support from people. Walk out on the water and stand on the Word. Keep on doing what God has told you to do. Even if you begin to sink, Jesus is there to help you.

I encourage you to increase your faith in Him, because He is all the support you need.

Step out on FAITH!!

After reading the Sunday School lesson, so much light has shed on us [as people] when it comes to everything that occurs in our lives. We cause the reactions of God based on our actions. If we turn away from God, we detach ourselves from His promise. Success is only through the Power of God. Always make a conscience connection to know that without God, we are nothing. This is why we must Humble ourselves: It is pride and thinking we did things on our own that hinders us. It is a heart attitude. We must Pray: Spend time with God and build a relationship. Seek God: Acknowledge we are in need of God and always find Him in all we do. Repent: Turn away from your wicked ways. Internal change. Not just attend church out of habit, tradition or custom.. but to seek a change of heart. At this time is when God will respond to our prayers. In bold are all action words. We must act first and then we will see God act on our request.

I encourage you to be mindful of your choices and actions. Submit your decisions to God and wait for Him to speak. Don’t move when you THINK it gotta be God. Move when you KNOW it is God.

Isaiah 43:16 – “God Will Make A Way Where There Seems To Be No Way”

Why do you think we repeat certain prayers? On Monday: Lord please make a way. Tuesday: Lord please make a way. And this repeats for days and weeks or months. Do you think God has not heard you? Keep on doing what God told you to do. God cannot lie… He said He will perform it and make it good. There is nothing too hard for God!

Romans 3:3-4 

³ For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

“Who will support me? Who will believe in me? Who will like what I have to say or do for Christ?” The answer is God. These are thoughts that may come to mind when seeking to fulfil the works that God has called you to do. My faith is not proven in my success, my faith is proven in my struggle. I need faith in the midst of the struggle so I can survive when I get to the success. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Once its seen, faith doesn’t need to work anymore. Faith is not embedded in other people. There are still areas where you need faith and I guarantee there is one area in your life where you feel attacked. If it’s not finances, its peace. Don’t have faith in others to have faith in you… Have faith in God alone! He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, not in people. If you say you are losing your faith in people, that is good! You will even disappoint yourself. Remember those New Year Resolutions and promises made to yourself that didn’t excel? You still love you, so go back to loving others. Faith is not anchored in what you can control. Don’t focus on things that do not matter. Don’t let anything stop you from getting to the place that God has promised you. With God alone, you can and you will succeed because of your continued faith in God Alone.

As a kid, I took swimming lessons at the YMCA… lack of trust in the instructors held me back and I still couldn’t learn to swim. I got thrown into the pool… still couldn’t swim and someone had to come in and save me. Tried every method and still till this day, I can’t swim and gave up trying to learn. I love the water, but will hang on to the rim of the pool or get nervous when my feet can’t touch the bottom.

Is that why certain people can’t grow in Christ? Because they are still holding onto the rim (what they know)? Increase your faith in Christ and He will take you higher. Is it your lack of trust in Him? Is it your fear of the unknown or what you could be capable of if you put all of your faith in God? If every other method has failed you in life, why not try God? Don’t give up on God, because He won’t give up on you. We may love God, but still hold on to certain things that we should let go. If you let go, you’ll learn that those certain things were holding you back from what all life has to offer. Trust Him…. He is the TRUE Life Saver!

Hebrews 6:1 “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God”

Put your energy on the future, not the past. Give God this year to finish what you started. This is the year of completion. Make this your wrap it up year. Not that you’re going to die, but to get things done that have been in limbo. Move the fake people from around you and change your environment. There was never anything wrong with you, it was your environment. This is your year to get it done! Move distractions and turmoil in your life. Stop being wrapped up in drama, others opinions of you or past situations.

How is it that we can endure pain for beauty, piercings, tattoos or bodily enhancements, but we don’t want to endure the pain that God has allowed for our growth and prosperity?  We must endure the process to get the promise. You prayed for the promise and God answered with the process. The children of Israel prayed for the Promise Land and had to endure the wilderness. Just because you have misery doesn’t mean you wont have a miracle. Just because you’re burdened, doesn’t mean you are not blessed. I thought this phase was an act of the enemy, but it was God molding me. You can’t see the finished product now, but after God finished molding, you’ll see the process was worth it. The reason I pray while others complain is because I know how bent out of shape I was prior to being molded. This molding process means that God has His hands on you and is taking you to the next level. The Lord is adding His finishing touches on you.

I encourage you to know greatness and strength comes out of everything The Lord touches, because there is power and might in His hands. Look up and say “Thank you Lord for your touch”.

Some of us are in a spiritual warfare and using natural weapons. You’re being hit in the spirit and trying to be tough in the natural.  That’s why we get moody. If you really want to come back at the enemy, you come back at him with the Word of God. To whom much is given, much is required. If you are wondering why you are being attacked so much and going through so much more, God is preparing you to go higher. Break it in the spirit and receive it in the body. Break every chain of destruction, poverty, negativity and anger. Be open to receive what God had replaced it with in the natural, because you broke it in the spirit.

Fight with the Word of God. Memorize His Word… Jesus did this. When Satan tempted Jesus three times in the wilderness, Jesus always responded by quoting the Bible. Jesus didn’t have to pull out his pocket Old Testament to respond to Satan. He had already hidden the Word in His heart. That’s how you defeat the devil, too.

As believers of Christ Jesus, the attacks of the enemy are evident. We constantly build ourselves daily just like ants build their ant hills. A toddler can step on an ant hill and knock it down. At this time, the enemy thinks you are something greater than you possibly think of yourself. If attacks come frequently, it means you could not be destroyed just by stepping on you like an ant hill. Satan is like a toddler compared to us. Don’t allow his small attacks and tantrums anger you or bring you down. For parents, once we let the toddler know who has the upper hand, they typically calm down to avoid a beating. It takes much more than his attacks to see you fall. We may stumble, but with the strength of the Lord, we will not fail. We have authority to crush Satan’s head and let him know who’s boss! You are a warrior, more than a conqueror and once we know who we are and what we can do, the enemy will stand down because he knows he can’t mess with you! He will try again, but it’s our duty to remind him that he lost the last battle and will lose the next one too!
