We forgot how much freedom cost, because we don’t realize how much others paid for the freedom that we call normal. Even though you consider yourself to be free, you can still be in bondage because of sin. To get what you want has a cost. To be a good leader, it costs something. You may have to suffer with your mouth closed. You won’t get this for free.
1 Peter 5:10 10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
You wanna be established, but you don’t wanna suffer. You can’t microwave your anointing. Some stuff takes time. Independence Day is not about food. There was a fight, but even when some were free, others were still bound by slavery. America tells the story the way they want it told, with a twisted truth. When you are trying to get free, it is not a beautiful thing. The innocent had to shed blood, so that we might be free. Jesus had to also shed blood so we can be free and free indeed. I know you’re okay now, but let’s talk about what all it took to get you here. It cost you sacrifice and endurance, agony and pain to get where you are now. If you are going thru pain now, you are paying the cost to be free from bondage. You will fight, cry and crawl your way out- it will cost you something. You find freedom when you find God. When you lose it, when you lose Him.
